  • Optical sensor/transmitter GREEN led.
  • IMPORTANT:  If the connection on the back of the sensor you are replacing  has anything other than SCREW terminals you must use the 35048R Kit.

Genie Garage Door Opener Safe-T-Beam System sends an invisible beam across the door opening.  The garage door stops and reverses to the full open position if anything passes through the beam.  To override a malfunctioning  door operator safety beam the door can be closed by pushing and holding the wall control button.  If the garage door opener safety beam is not working properly the garage door opener remote control and door operator keyless entry system will not work. 

The garage door opener safe-t-beam receiver (qgreen) should be positioned on the side of the door that receives the least amount of direct sunlight.
