Genie Garage Door Opener Remote Control Transmitter GT912
Genie 912. The single solution from the makers of The Genie Company for Genie garage door openers using the 9 or 12 switch security code setting. The garage door opener remote control must have the same security code switch set to be identical to those in the garage door opener receiver before it will work. If you have a lost or stolen garage door opener remote control you should change the security code switch located on the door opener receiver board Locate the 9 or 12 switch coding on the Power Head Receiver of your Garage Door Operator. This can be found where you see the antenna wire hanging from the door opener motor head (you may have to take the lens cover off). If antenna wire is not hanging from garage door opener motor head then you have an external receiver which is a black box approx. 6" x 2" mounted close to your garage door opener motor or somewhere in the garage with a antenna wire hanging from it (pop off cover to find 9 or 12 switches). |
