Genie Garage Door Opener Excelerator Rail & Screw Assembly 34106R
CAUTION: Drive screw section and rail liner can slide of out rail sections. Keep rail sections level until door operator is fully assembled. Installing rail assembly: Install bumper and coupler on motor shaft. 1. First rail assembly attached to garage door opener motor. Push drive screw out about 5 inches, line up and slide drive screw into coupler, push and line up holes on rail and power head, connect with bolts and nuts. 2. Arrange arrows on rail section: point arrows in same direction away from door operator power head. 3. Set middle drive screw, push drive screw out about 2 inches. 4. Assemble middle drive screw, slide collar on long end of drive screw joint, turn screw by hand to align coupler hooks, engage coupler hooks, slide collar over hooks, snap clip behind collar toward the garage door. 5. Attach rail clamps to middle section, place a set a clamps at each end of the garage door opener rail, finger tighten rail clamps with bolts and nuts. 6. Attach middle rail section, slide rail between clamps, connect by finger tightening bolts and nuts. 7. Connect end rail section. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for end rail section. 8. Install carriage stop and carriage assembly. 9. Attach rail strap. Connect to end rail section with bolt. 10. Tighten all nuts and bolts. |
